We stock the full range of Eaton drives, soft starts, injection brakes, keypads, filters, control gear and accessories. Distribution is made quick and simple by the large stocks of Eaton products, rapid distribution with daily courier collection and short lead times for the manufacturer.
As well as supplying, we are able to offer repairs and field service on the motor controllers from our dedicated team of engineers, we have huge combined experience of Eaton and Moeller products and motor controllers in general.
Inverters
Variable
speed drives for AC motors.
Fan & pump applications can use the DF51 for small motors (0.25-2.2kW single phase, 0.4-7.5kW three phase) and DF6 for bigger ones (11-132kW three phase).
Vector control applications, such as conveyors, mixers, lifts, etc. can use the DV51 for small motors (0.25-2.2kW single phase, 0.4-7.5kW three phase) and DV6 for bigger ones (0.75-132kW three phase).
The newest range of inverters can be used with either type of application. For smaller motors the M-Max is available in 0.25-2.2kW single phase, 0.4-7.5kW three phase; with or without a built-in RFI filter. The H-Max, for larger motors (1.1-160kW three phase), will soon be available in standard IP20 enclosures or enclosed IP54.
Soft Starts
Starter units for standard AC motors, for reducing the starting load and minimising mechanical stress.
The DS7 is the latest soft start unit from Eaton Moeller, designed to integrate with their xStart control range and with an option to integrate with the new SmartWire Darwin connectivity. Available 1.5-15kW, with 110/230Vac or 24Vdc control voltage.
We can also supply the DS4 (2.2-15kW with options for reverse and bypass), DS6 (22-110kW) and DM4 (7.5-500kW).
DC Injection Braking
Built and designed in-house by Power Drive Services using our own brake modules with Eaton switch gear and enclosures. Used to electrically stop standard AC motors in any application. Typically used with woodworking machinery to comply with PUWER98 health and safety regulations.
We offer braking units with integrated starters for direct-on-line or star/delta connections. DOL starters are available from 0.75-2.2 single phase and 0.75-15kW three phase. Star/delta units allow larger motors to use less power when starting but still run at full power, these units are available from 4-55kW
We also have emergency braking units that work with your existing starting system to provide an emergency stop function for machines that would normally coast to a stop under non critical braking, for motors up to 55kW.
